Olteanu-Ignatovici mechanical department is manufacturing finished products on CNC-lathes, out of castings or rolled steel cropped semi-products

Firstly, the semi-products are being prepared on universal lathes

The large parts (700-1300mm) are performed on:

• YOU JI vertical turning center, with milling and drilling possibilities (ax C)
• HWACHEON vertical lathe, with milling and drilling possibilities (ax C)

Every part is verified with modern measurement instruments (WENZEL coordinate measuring machine, FARO GAGE measuring arm, Tesa Micro-hite) also with classic instruments (calipers, micrometers); each of them being verified regularly.

The mechanical department can also performed other machining operations:

• planar and round grinding, boring and honing on specialized equipments
• MIG-MAG and WIG welding
